“There was no OSE request for a cleanup,” he revealed Monday morning to the Minister of Environment and Energy Theodoros Skylakakis after the incident of a falling tree, which was hit by a train between Sfendalis and Afidna stations.

“There has been a law since 1979 according to which the railway is obliged to clear 10 meters on either side of the tracks” said Mr. Skylakakis.
