“Strengthening the Greek industry is a one-way street”, he noted and added that the Ministry of Development will soon present an integrated production model in October.

In this context, he announced that decisions will be made in the coming two months for 170 million euro subsidy for strategic investments, which will bring several thousand jobs, with a completion horizon of the end of 2025.

Mr. Theodorikakos pointed out that the On Wednesday and Thursday he will visit business parks in Northern Greece – in Serres and Alexandroupoli – where the heart of Greek industry beats. The Ministry of Development finances with 90 million euros the creation and upgrading of existing industrial parks and with 85 million euros the digital transition of businesses.

The Minister of Development also highlighted the strategy of reducing bureaucracy in at least 15 procedures – he specifically mentioned the approvals for the installation and operation of manufacturing industries, the issuance and change of KAD – in order to facilitate professional and business activity.
