The PASOK presidential candidate, Anna Diamantopoulou, was invited to the SKAI studio a few hours after the debate.

“Yesterday PASOK won. It gave the image of a party which seems to be a party that knows about politics” he commented on last night. It was a serious, unifying debate, with political characteristics but, of course, also with sharp points,” said Ms. Diamantopoulou.

“Besides the internal issues, it is important to talk to the young people, to those who are leaving, to those who are now looking towards PASOK. The debate was a good start for the world to see that there is a future and unity in the party, the shop will not be dissolved as the one next door is being dissolved,” he stressed.

“The next leader must beat Kyriakos Mitsotakis”

“The bet for the next president of PASOK will be to beat Kyriakos Mitsotakis. The point is not to produce a president who will give 2 more points to the party, the point is to have a president who will make the leap,” said the PASOK leadership candidate.

“The one who will go the other way, will have to essentially create the other pole in the Maximus system. Tomorrow’s opponent of Mr. Mitsotakis in the national elections will not be a person – he must have organized the party, social support forces and have the characteristics of an international presence, that is, international experience, prestige, connections and knowledge of national issues,” he stressed.

“I have been in PASOK since I was 18 years old, there is no “passometer”, the PASOK presidential candidate emphasized.
