Specifically, Mr. Mitsotakis stated:

“Five things I want you to know about the 2025 budget tabled in Parliament yesterday.

1. It is good for our pocket

Because it includes 12 wage increases and 12 tax cuts. This is how they steadily close the gap that separates us from European incomes.

2. The public debt is even more domesticated.

Because it reduces it by almost 5 units of the GDP, additionally increasing the international credibility of the country and easing the next generations.

3. It makes our economy stronger and more resilient.

Because it aims to increase exports of Greek products and reduce imports.

4. It closes the investment gap left in our economy by the crisis.

Because compared to 2019, it more than doubles the public investments we make in health, education, security, civil protection.

What is the fifth thing I want you to know?

That all this happens in a context of fiscal stability and responsibility.
