Time is counting down for the election of the new president of PASOK, with tomorrow’s second round elections on Sunday.

The two candidate leaders Nikos Androulakis and Harry Doukas are today covering the last kilometers of their pre-election campaign before the polls open tomorrow morning, Sunday, October 13.

The polls will open in the morning at 7 and voting will last until 7 in the afternoon. Only those who voted in the first round on October 6, 2024 have the right to vote. For their identification, it is necessary to show a police ID or passport/driver’s license of a new type to the electoral committee. Their search will be made from the voter register and not from the national electoral roll, as was done in the first round. Therefore, AMKA is not required for 16-year-old voters and foreigners.

In order to vote, those directly interested do not need to pay a fee, while they can go to any polling station they wish, in any region of the country – that is, they can also vote in a different polling station from the previous time.

In yesterday’s speech, Nikos Androulakis pledged to put into practice the observations he has received and to move with the strategy of renewal, unity and political autonomy.

“We continue on the same path and I deeply believe that if PASOK continues united, with the responsible word, with the political program, with a competent executive force, we can in the next national elections not only look the New Democracy in the eyes but be the winner”, he said, adding that on Sunday they are not only voting for the president of the party, but also for PASOK to become the next government in the country.

For his part, Haris Doukas published a video in which he says that “on Sunday we vote for change”.

Wondering if we will be stuck in dead-end stagnation, settling for a PASOK of low expectations, the presidential candidate emphasizes to voters that it does not matter what they voted for as everyone shares the same anxiety about the faction.

“I strongly believe that we have an opportunity to change course. We just have to work together.

For a large, open, pioneering PASOK. Ready to change Greece.

On Sunday we are voting for Change!”, he emphasizes characteristically.
