“Let’s go to a conference and elect a new president and stop the SYRIZA Odyssey and finally reach Ithaca” said Mr. Zambaras
“All these statements do not create a climate of calm, composure and a logic of unity in view of the conference and the election of a new president. I would like us to be more careful in the public discourse and not to constantly pour water into the mill of introversion”, said the SYRIZA-PS MP to SKAI and on the show “Kalimera” with Fai Mavragani Miltos Zambarason the occasion of his posting Stefanou Kasselakis that “they don’t let him lose”.
“Recently, we have been constantly observing statements that intensify introversion and create a negative climate. This should stop. We have a common home, let’s stay united”, added Mr. Zambaras.
He also emphasized that “there is a collective decision of the Central Committee. In my opinion, to stop this odyssey for SYRIZA and reach Ithaca, we should turn the page. Let’s go to the elections for a new president and the next day let’s all be together. The existence of the space the next day is particularly critical.”
Regarding the possible withdrawal of SYRIZA MPs and whether they will have to surrender their seats, Mr. Zambaras said: “The seats belong to SYRIZA, we would not be MPs if SYRIZA did not exist. If it wasn’t for Alexis Tsipras to transform into practice all this wonderful journey we have had up to this moment, we would not be in this position”.
However, Mr. Zambaras disagreed with the characterization of “political fraud” attributed by Giorgos Tsipras to Stefanos Kasselakis. “I don’t think I could describe a former president that way. Many mistakes were made throughout the previous period, a very long period of tension which we must put an end to. Solutions are political, answers are political. Let’s go to a conference and elect a new president and stop the SYRIZA Odyssey and finally reach Ithaca”.
