From 8:00 a.m. on Sunday until 7:00 p.m., voters will go to the polls for the process of electing the president of SYRIZA-PS. Candidates, in alphabetical order, are: Apostolos Gletsos, Pavlos Polakis, Sokratis Famellos, Nikolas Farandouris. If necessary there will be a repeat round next Sunday, December 1st.

According to an announcement by Koumoundourou, SYRIZA-PS is fully prepared ahead of the presidential election process on Sunday, November 24. In the previous days, he reports, two informative teleconferences were held with Electoral Commissions from across the country regarding the election process.

Specifically, voting in the 465 polling stations will begin at 8 am. and will end at 7 p.m.

It is noted that everyone from the age of 15 and above, who are either members, have the right to vote SYRIZA-Progressive Allianceor register members of SYRIZA-Progressive Alliance even on the day of the elections, Sunday 24 November, on site at the polling stations. Those who are already members and those who register on voting day can vote in any polling station throughout Greece, even if they are outside their electoral district.

It is pointed out that voters should have with them an identity card or passport or driver’s license or health card. Citizens of other countries, such as European Union or from third countries or immigrants and those under 17 must show a legal document showing their identity, as well as their AMKA.
