The machines are working at full speed in Harilaou Trikoupi ahead of the Budget – The parliamentary battle will culminate on Sunday

The machines at Harilaou Trikoupi are working at full speed ahead of the Budget. The parliamentary battle will culminate on Sunday with the confrontation between Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsakis and the Leader of the Official Opposition Nikos Androulakis, and in PASOK the processes are continuous. The nomination is controversial both in the Parliament and in his society PASOK as the alternative pole that will express a fair and progressive policy for the country, as stated by Nikos Androulakis in an interview with ONE.
“For a month now we have been “bombarding” the government in Parliament to show something simple which is my central strategic goal: Yes, there is an alternative government policy. It is PASOK’s policy that is fair, progressive, transparent and meritorious and can make the country turn the page” noted the President of PASOK.
Meeting in Parliament
In the afternoon in the Parliament the President of PASOK had another preparatory meeting. The entire financial staff of PASOK was present. Parliamentary representatives Pavlos Geroulanos and Dimitris Mantzos, Paris Koukoulopoulos as head of the Economy department, Eleni Vatsina head of the Small and Medium Enterprises department, Milena Apostolaki head of the banking and private debt department, Anna Diamantopoulou in charge of Political Planning, the secretary of the parliamentary group participated. Dimitris Biagis, the director of the parliamentary group Yiannis Koutsoukos, its head Mr. Haris Dimakareas, the Secretary of Private Debt Dimitris Spyrakos, the head of PASOK’s Energy department Frangiskos Parasiris and others. The central line of PASOK was decided and the way in which the reliable opposition produced by Harilaou Trikoupi will be highlighted. The aim of the PASOK President’s speech is to deconstruct the government’s economic narrative, but mainly it will focus on highlighting that there is an alternative governance proposal and it is the one that unfolds daily through PASOK’s initiatives as reported by close associates of the President.
“New Democracy was not used to following the agenda of the opposition. For a month now, he has been following PASOK’s agenda to the letter, the health issues, the banking issues,” said Nikos Androulakis in his television interview a little later.
For Harilaou Trikoupi, PASOK’s autonomous path is a one-way street, a fact that Nikos Androulakis made clear once again in his television appearance yesterday, responding to the positions of the President and executives of SYRIZA.
“They are coming to teach me opposition lessons, some who failed both the way they governed and the way they exercised opposition and are responsible for the two victories of New Democracy. I will say something that I have repeated many times: as long as I am the President of PASOK, PASOK will not co-govern with New Democracy.”
Finally, the President of PASOK reiterated that the nomenclature for the President of the Republic is premature and the initiative of Alexis Haritsis is untimely as at this time the budget battle in the Parliament takes precedence.
