As the case progresses Tempo, so the cover-up and wickedness of the government is revealed“, emphasize in their joint statement, the head of the K.T.E. of Justice, Institutions and Transparency of PASOK-Movement for Change, Evangelia Liakoulis, and the secretary of the Justice sector of the party, Christos Kaklamanis.

PASOK, through its competent officials, notes that “the veil of concealment that the government tried to impose on the case of the crime of Tempe – not without struggle, not without effort – is slowly giving way to new shocking testimonies, to new irrefutable evidence, to new heartbreaking cries of anguish that continue to shock the whole of Greece”, and asks for answers to the questions that arise.

They state in detail:

As early as November 2024, the revelations at the time, about the huge delays and ‘missing’ footage from the cameras in the investigation of the cargo contained in the commercial train (our statements from 15/11/2024 and 18/11/2024) , foreshadowed what we have been shockingly hearing in recent days.

The veil of cover-up that the government tried to impose on the Tempe crime case – not without struggle, not without effort – is slowly giving way to new shocking testimony, to new hard evidence, to new heartbreaking cries of anguish that continue to shake the panhellenic. ‘Marthi s’ agapo’ which a few minutes later is complemented by the phrase ‘Can you hear me?’ will forever haunt the collective consciousness of the citizens and primarily those responsible, for the fact that all these elements are being made public almost 2 years after the crime of Tempe.

For this ‘March I love you’ “that remained unfinished, for these ‘broken’ voices and the last nuggets of tenderness of young people who would normally have their whole lives ahead of them, we will continue the efforts: until the 57 dead and the dozens of injured people of Tempe, to find justice, until the Justice brings about a complete cleansing of the case, until in a country “fiefdom” of the government faction, to restore the basic principles of the Rule of Law. A State that will not conceal material, will not cover up aspects of the case, will not delay by attempting statutes of limitations, will not be reduced before ministers, organizations, managers, administrators, etc.

Now the questions are here and begging for answers.

PASOK is asking for answers to the complaints about the role of the State Chemistry in this case and the alleged cover-up that was attempted with regard to the transferred material.

PASOK is also asking for answers on the correlation of the crime of Tempe, with the legislation of a committee of Forensic Judges by the Ministry of Justice, which will be introduced on Thursday in the Plenary Session of the Parliament, which will have the possibility to intervene in the forensic conclusions.

We continue to be here, on the front lines and on full alert».
