SYRIZA is asking for a debate in the Parliament on Tempi after the gatherings that took place this Saturday in Athens and throughout the country, in which the Parliamentary Group of the official opposition participated.
“Today the Palladian social reaction to the government’s cover-up plan for the crime of Tempe sent a resounding message for Justice and a clear demand for Transparency,” emphasizes SYRIZA president Sokratis Famellos.
“Hundreds of thousands of citizens of all ages, in dozens of cities in Greece and abroad, are asking for Oxygen and demanding full clarification and accountability for the crime of Tempi, which will soon be two years old”.
“The public prosecutor’s investigation, which is delayed due to the government’s responsibility, must be completed immediately and the file with all the expert opinions must come to the Parliament. No evasions. In this social request, the progressive forces cannot remain indifferent” emphasizes the president of SYRIZA.
“We are undertaking a consultation initiative with all progressive parties to defend the dignity of Greek citizens and the rule of law inside and outside the Parliament. We are setting as the first step the pre-day debate at the National Delegation,” he says.
“It is the minimum we have to do. Mr. Mitsotakis will come to the Parliament to give explanations to the Greek People” concludes Sokratis Famellos.
