For this reason, ELAS announced her banby decision of the head of the Thessaloniki Police Department, every gathering or march (pedestrian or motorized) at the west entrance of the city, for today, from 6 in the morning to 12 midnight.

As stated in the Police statement, the prohibition decision is imposed on the one hand because “there is a serious risk to public security due to the possible commitment of serious crimes, in particular against life, physical integrity, property and state power”, and on the other hand, ” Seriously the disturbance of socio -economic life, the movement of vehicles and pedestrians and the operation of infrastructure and Public Benefits in the City. “

The ban applies to October 26th, from the height of the PATHE junction to its intersection with the Paleo Station and Karatasos streets, as well as the adjacent roads.

The Prime Minister’s program in Thessaloniki

More specifically, the Greek Prime Minister’s program is as follows:

At 10:30 he will visit the Fly Over site and at 11:00 he will attend the Filter Hospital under construction. At 12:00, he will visit the child’s asylum and then to the Christian Brotherhood of Youth Thessaloniki. Finally, at 18:00, he will tour the New Democracy offices on Michael Kalou Street, and in particular the 50th anniversary of the party.
