The new President of the Republic Konstantinos Tasoulas, who succeeds Katerina Sakellaropoulou, in the House of Representatives, is sworn in before the House.
Mr Tasoulas succeeds Katerina Sakellaropoulou as he was elected PDD on February 12, 2025, receiving the positive vote of 160 Members.
The new President of the Republic, Konstantinos Tasoula, will be welcomed at the House of Representatives at the entrance of the unknown soldier, by the Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Speaker of the Hellenic Parliament Nikitas Kaklamanis. In the monument, they will have been lined up Armed Forces To inspection by the President of the Republic.
Following the reign of the Kenkanoni Presses, the elected President of the Republic will put his hand in the Holy Gospel and repeat the oath, which will be read by the Archbishop of Athens and all Greece.
He will then be signed in the triple protocol of the swearing -in of the President of the Republic by the sworn President of the Republic, the President of the Government, the Speaker of the House and the Archbishop of Athens and All Greece).
Finally, Mr. Tasoulas will depart from the room after greeting party leaders.
Following his swearing -in ceremony, the President of the Republic Konstantinos Tasoulas will submit a Stefanos at the Monument to the Unknown Soldier.
