In a post on Facebook, after the court ruling, Pavlos Polakis, among other things, says that “I do not bend my head, we will say it to the Court of Appeal”
“I don’t chew unclear. I don’t chew lamps of lentils” In these words, Pavlos Polakis responded via a post on Facebook about his guilt for slanderous defamation.
Former Deputy Minister of Health was sentenced to prison sentence 12 months with a three -year suspended Athens Criminal Court for slanderous defamation against the former president of the workers’ union in the HELP and current special adviser to the Minister of Health, Stamatis Pouli.
In his post, he quotes the reasons he was sentenced in absentia and states that the follow -up will be given to the Court of Appeal.
Paul Polakis’ post:
“I do not massive free.
I DON’T MAKE FAKI PALIKARIA !!
Today I came to court and asked for the court to be appointed for the next week because both of my lawyers Yiannis Mantzouranis and Yiannis Apatsidis had a health problem. (Yiannis Mantzouranis was hospitalized for ten days until yesterday, and Yiannis Apatsidis today postponed his other case to the Court of Appeal !!)
In fact, I asked for it when the postponement request was rejected, to stop and go on Wednesday – Thursday!
Inadmissible, the judge (he was one -member) did not accept it and obviously I wouldn’t make them happy to accept to be judged without a lawyer.
So I came to the House I spoke to the Committee on Institutions and Transparency, I went to the clinic in Piraeus and did a tracheotomy to a ICU patient and re -coming to talk about the bill.
Meanwhile, the court, which was screaming yesterday by the indefinite oil briefing that he had to make a decision to condemn me, did what Georgiadis said, my wilderness !!
We do not shake the head, we continue !!
We will tell them in the Court of Appeal where his own HELP will be again from the beginning ..
