The work of the European People’s Party’s conference on the emergence of the new EPP leadership, held in the presence of Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and leaders from all over Europe, was attended by Attica Regional Governor and Executive Vice -President of the European People’s Party Group.

During the conference, Mr. Chardalias had the opportunity to develop proposals on critical European issues, the important role and the institutional strengthening of European regions. Specifically, in his work texts, he emphasized the importance of enhancing European readiness and resilience to multifaceted crises, from natural disasters and health threats to geopolitical turmoil and cyberattacks. Concerning the emergency challenges to address the consequences of the climate crisis, Attica Regional Governor and First Vice -President of the EPP Political Team on the EU Regional Committee reiterated the proposal to establish a new European Prevention Fund for Prevention and Anthem of Provision.
