The Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias will inaugurate tomorrow, Tuesday, May 6, at 13:00, the Defea 2025 (Defense Exhibition Athens), at the Metropolitan Expo Exhibition Center at the Athens International Airport “Eleftherios”.

As announced, Mr Dendias will also address a greeting at the inauguration ceremony.

Earlier, on the sidelines of Defea 2025, Mr Dendias will hold bilateral meetings with Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and Green Cape Minister Janine Lélis, with whom he will sign a Memorandum of Understanding.

As part of Defea 2025, at 14:00, Mr Dendias will take part in a discussion with journalist Vassilis Nedos on “New Greek Defense Policy and Agenda 2030”

During the report, the Minister of National Defense will tour the exhibitors’ stands.

The exhibition will run from May 6 to May 8. There are 436 exhibitors from 37 countries, with 18 national kiosks and 98 official missions from 45 countries. The report is under the auspices of the Ministry of National Defense.

Political and military leaderships of friendly and allied countries have been invited and conference and informational events will be organized by highlighting Defea’s geopolitical parameter.

The Hellenic Defense Innovation Center (ELKAK) and the Directorate -General for Defense Equipment and Investment (GDEEE) will meet existing and new partners and suppliers.

The exhibition, according to the organizers’ announcement, will be presented for the first time weapons systems at the cutting edge of technology as well as artificial intelligence applications that offer solutions in all areas of the modern field of business, with a focus on interoperability and flexibility.

It is recalled that the exhibition is one of the most important international platforms for contacts with a focus on strategic partnerships, as the organizers offer a substantial dialogue on security challenges, European defense strategy and the new geopolitical reality.
