Meeting with Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew had on Thursday morning at the Maximos Palace, the Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

At the start of the meeting they had the following dialogue:

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew: I bring you the wishes and blessings of the Mother Church, the greeting of the brothers of the High Priests from the Fanari. For me and for my accompaniment it is a special pleasure to be in Greece again, on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the temple you have given us and we now have in the center of Athens. And on this occasion to see your beloved face again, your partners, to exchange thoughts on the common issues and to return to our headquarters.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis: Panagiotis, is your visit that always gives us strength, courage and courage to continue walking on the difficult path of the overall rebellion of our country.

Again, I want to welcome you to the Maximus Mansion, interpreting, I believe, the feelings of all Greeks and all Greeks on your face, but also in the very great work you do.

Indeed, you are coming for a very pleasant moment you mentioned, but every visit is an opportunity to be able to discuss the wider developments that concern our region. Issues that I know you have both the opinion and the courage of opinion, which I think is overall appreciated.

So again, with a lot of love, and on behalf of my husband, I welcome you to Athens.

Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew: Now that you mentioned Mrs Mareva, I have brought you a photo we took to the Vatican, St. Peter’s Square.

Kyriakos Mitsotakis: Thank you very much. You are very excited. Thank you very much, Panagiotis.
