  2. Greece maintains constant communication with the Palestinian Authority, which it has supported as the only legal representative of the Palestinians from the outset. This morning the Greek Foreign Minister re -contacted the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of the Palestinian Authority on the issue of humanitarian aid.
  3. At the initiative of Greece as the chairman of the Security Council in May, the issue of civilian protection is being discussed in New York tomorrow, which was also a priority for Greece’s term. The Greek Foreign Minister will be chaired at the meeting.
  4. Greece has continued to support the UN Relief and Works Service for Palestinian refugees in the Middle East (UNRWA), despite complaints against it and stopping support from other European countries.
  5. At the initiative of the Greek Foreign Minister at the European Union Foreign Affairs Council, Member States undertook to provide medical care to injured children from Gaza. Greece has already welcomed 11 children to hospitals and is expected to continue.
