“No attempt to deceive or conceal the statements by Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis at the UN was made by RES-EIA”
‘No attempt to deceive or conceal the statements of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, George Gerapetritis in UN was done by the RES-EIAin spite of the claims of SYRIZA In its announcement, ”as stated in an official announcement.
According to the agency, these allegations do not in fact respond, as the content of the Minister’s statements are available and completely accessible to both the RES-EIA subscription service and its free page:
80 UN Member States supported the Greek Initiative to protect civilians in armed conflict
UN: Common Statement of Greece, Denmark, N. Korea, Panama, Sierra Leone, France, Slovenia, Guiana and the UK for Climate, Peace and Security and Protection of civilians
G. Gerapetritis: Initiative of the Greek Presidency at the Security Council for the protection of civilians in war
G. Gerattitis at the Security Council for “Protection of civilians”: “War, Violence and Propaganda should never deprive a child the right to grow up”
Obviously, no videos with statements on camera, whether it is the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister or the political leaders or ministers, is not published as such. This is a key journalistic rule on television, RES-EIA or any other means relaying television material. This video with Mr Gerapetritis’ statements was over 7 minutes unpaid and about 4 minutes were selected for a relay, which clearly shows the meaning of the minister’s statements about the humanitarian crisis in Gaza. It is therefore not related to a “hood” or “falsification” of statements, as SYRIZA claims in its announcement.
So the attempt of some to display the picture that RES-EIA hides something or undermines the truth is unacceptable. It not only offends the National News Agency, but primarily the work and the professional dignity of dozens of journalists who work hard on it daily, so that all media can access the most complete journalistic material as possible.
In this case, one is the truth: RES-EIA has never made and will never make an attempt to falsify or hide any of them. Anything else, much more any suggestion to RES-EIA journalists, is not in line with the freedom of the press, for which some seem to be interesting.
SYRIZA: ruthless government editing
Announcement was made by SYRIZA, where there was a “ruthless government montage, after Tempi and Gaza”.
“RES-EIA mounted the statements of Greek Foreign Minister George Gerapetritis in the United Nations by eliminating his report” in the humanitarian disaster in Gaza “so that it does not have recorded in the posted video on the Youtube channel at the agency.
So diligent from the 2019 under the prime minister’s office, the line of the guilty silence in front of the genocide is not spoiled. Shame”
