The SAFE Regulation has recently been adopted, despite the European Parliament’s strong reservations. Turkey, as a third country, has occasionally launched threats against a Member State of the European Union, such as Greece.

Greece’s Prime Minister, Mr. Mitsotakis, immediately raised the issue of the removal of Casus Belli, as Turkey’s war threat is ongoing, despite the fact that Greece as entitled, applies international law and sea law.

Greek Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias pointed out that:

2) Will you request the immediate termination of any corporate relationship with Turkey if it does not lift the immediate threats against Greece, a Member State of the EU, in accordance with Article 16 (4) of the Safe Regulation?

3) What steps will you take if Turkey launches new threats?
