The Disability Certification Center (KEPA) to Galatsirecently put into operation, the Prime Minister visited Kyriakos Mitsotakis and the Minister of Labor and Social Security Ceramic Victoryin the context of the broader government planning to modernize KEPA and improve the certification process invalidity in Greece.
In his statements, the prime minister stressed:
“I want to express my satisfaction with the image I saw today. A modern disability certification center prepared through the excellent cooperation of the EFKA and the Municipality of Galatsi that can serve our fellow citizens in dignity, speed and apparently easy accessibility, which is particularly concerned with people with disabilities.
We have inherited, the truth is, in the issues of certification of disability, many pending issues from the past but with a very systematic effort the situation I believe is normalized. The Minister spoke of a significant reduction in waiting times so that our fellow citizens can have an appointment they are looking for and we soon wish that time will be nullified, in better interoperability between EFKA and EOPYY services in the recruitment of more doctors and of course the self -evident enlargement.
I find it inconceivable to ask our fellow citizens to re -enact their disability when we know that their situation will never change. “
