The new Deputy Minister of Rural Development and Food, is taken over by Argolida MP Yiannis Andrianos.

Mr Andrianos replaces Dionysis Stamenitis, following a decision by Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

Born in New Epidaurus in 1959, Mr. Andrianos is married and has a daughter, Maria.

He is a Doctor of Democritus University of Thrace on the thesis “The Impacts of Cultural and Social Primarios on the Economic Development of the Western Balkans”, and a graduate of the School of Humanities Studies of EA University.

He was first elected to Argolida MP with the New Democracy in the 2009 national elections.

Political and social activities

He has been director of the Prime Minister’s Press Office, Mr. Costas Karamanlis (2004-2009), Director of the New Democracy Press Office (2000-2004), Director of the Press Office of the New Democracy Parliamentary Group (1997-2000), Deputy Secretary of Communication Evert (1994-1996), editor-in-chief of the periodical edition “Liberal Emphasis” and Communication Advisor of the Institute of Republic “Constantine Karamanlis”.

In addition, he has taught cultural heritage protection, press history and European culture in the Postgraduate Program “Culture and Education” of the Harokopio University.
