The statement by Turkish Foreign Ministry spokesman Ontzu Ketseli
“We welcome the ruling of the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) in the case of the” Turks “Cultural Association of Xanthi Province announced on June 24, 2025”
“This decision has once again shown that the” Turkish minority of Western Thrace “is prevented from exercising its fundamental rights and freedoms.”
“We expect from Greece, which has been convicted for the fourth time in a similar case, to register the names of the citizens’ society organizations of the” Turkish Minority of Western Thrace “without discrimination and to make regulations that will allow the decisions of the ECHR in this context without further delay.”
