“More serious” for the Attica Consortium of Transportation, from the imposition of a fine imposed by OASA for the recent bus collision in Voula with 47 injured, was announced by Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Konstantinos Kyranakis.

Responding to Parliament in a timely question by SYRIZA-PS MP George Karameros, Mr Kiranakis said that “the investigation into the incident that caused 47 injuries between them and children is being investigated and there will be more serious consequences”. “And obviously, we expect professionals in the field to understand the sense of duty, that they manage human lives, that they carry people and young children and minors, through their routes, and so we will exhaust our rigor,” he added.

For his part, Mr Karameros said that in recent days three accidents have been reported by buses from the private consortium of Attica. After Voula, on July 4 and 9, on July 23, a bus crashed into a grill in Menidi with cars and 12 passengers. “What about this history of the Attica Consortium?
