by

“And here from Patras it is clear that inequalities are galloping, the accuracy it scans the incomes of Greek citizens, creates huge problems of competitiveness and unfortunately no decisions are made commensurate with the problem “. These were emphasized, among others, by the president of PASOK-KINAL, Nikos Androulakis, in statements he made today at noon in Patras.

He added, “there should be an immediate ceiling on the adjustment clause, a ceiling on the price of the invoice, a taxation of the corporate superprofits”, noting that the European Commission says with data that their superprofits for the whole of Europe in 2022 will be around “200 billion euros if we do not do something.”

He also said that “VAT on basic goods should be reduced” because, as he said, “the state is profiting at the expense of the citizen in recent months from price increases and has multiple revenues compared to the budget.”

At the same time, Nikos Androulakis noted that “we must clarify that the country needs a strong progressive policy and another plan than the one implemented by the New Democracy government.”

“Mitsotakis-Tsipras failed miserably”

Regarding the collaborations, the president of PASOK-KINAL underlined that “because a lot is heard, I want to be clear” and explained: “Both Mr. Tsipras and Mr. Mitsotakis are two prime ministers who failed miserably. “And the democratic faction is not going to give a lifeline to either of them in this strong new beginning.”

In fact, as he characteristically stated, “we want a strong mandate, so that we have the power, in order to impose the ideas and the progressive program of social democracy for another page for the Greek people, with more opportunities for all, fewer inequalities and a greater perspective for the young people in our country “.

Answering a reporter’s question about the possibility early elections, Mr. Androulakis stated: “The elections are a privilege of the respective Prime Minister. “Whenever they happen, we will be ready, with competitive ballots, with a complete plan, with the virtue of consistency and responsibility, without populism, to offer a real alternative to the Greek people.”

“Because,” he added, “the polarization game set up by Mr. Mitsotakis and Mr. Tsipras to serve their petty partisan interests does not allow for a strong and fruitful public debate.”

“We”, he continued, “become protagonists again and not regulators as some want” and added: “Protagonists to impose a real public dialogue, which puts the problems of the Greek people on the table – with the real correlations and data, without the division of of previous years – and resolves them for the benefit of the entire Greek people “.

Earlier, Nikos Androulakis, accompanied by party officials, toured the center of Patras, where he talked to citizens and shopkeepers on the sidewalks of Riga Fereou and Agios Nikolaos, as well as on Maizonos Street.
