A video from his visit to the 3rd Zografou Gymnasium, one of the 431 public schools in the country renovated under the Marietta Giannakou program to be ready to welcome pupils at the start of the new school year by Prime Minister Kyriakos.
As he commented, it was built 70 years ago, with more than 70 students attending it and has never been renovated to date.
The Prime Minister was briefed by the Minister of Education, Religions and Sports Sofia Zacharakis and the headmaster of the school Aristides Falagara about the work being carried out in the classrooms, the public spaces and in the courtyard of the older school in disability.
As noted, this is the first renovation of the school complex from the construction of its first buildings in 1954. Kyriakos Mitsotakis announced that the Marietta Giannakou program would continue and expand to other schools. Monday 25 August 2025.
