The Minister of National Defense Nikos Dendias, a posting on HP, reminds that the government rightly promoted the purchase of the F-35s, citing a related video of its recent position on the Standing Committee on National Defense and Foreign Affairs on September 24.

As Mr Dendias states in the video, “Here in the House there was a discussion of the F -35s and the Admiral had said then – Admiral Ea. Apostolakis to him as a Admiral, so I used to tell him even though I should address him “Mr. Minister”- “Why do you go to the F-35s when the fleet has enormous needs?”
And he adds: “Please remember that I had said” Excuse me, who will be responsible if in the next election, then Biden was president, President Trump wins and President Erdogan succeeds in President Trump to get F-35 and Turkey? “
“We then promoted the F-35s,” he explains, “and rightly, it turned out to be the F-35.”
And he explains that “I do not foresee Turkey will take it” but, “to be honest, basic provision is to have them already and the Turks are trying to try.”
