Greece and Cyprus are among the approximately 20 countries invited by the Trump government to the long-awaited “Peace Summit” for Gaza to be held on Monday in Sham-El-Egypt, Egypt.
Specifically, according to Axios Israeli journalist Barack Ravid, in a post on the X platform, the US Foreign Ministry sent an official invitation to the Gaza leaders’ summit, including besides Greece and Cyprus, Azerima, India, Spain, Bahrain, and Hungary.
The Axios journalist also reports that Iran has been invited, while Israel will not participate.

The meeting was also confirmed by Egypt, in a statement, stating that the presidents of Egypt Abdel Fatah al -Sisi and the US Donald Trump will co -chair tomorrow, after noon, in the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sear Eli Eli.
According to the Egyptian Presidency, “the meeting aims to end the war in the Gaza Strip, to strengthen efforts to restore peace and stability in the Middle East and open a new page of regional security and stability.”
Egypt also goes to UN Secretary -General Antonio Guterres. In a recent statement, Guterres welcomed this development and urged Israel and Hamas to “fully” comply with the ceasefire agreement and release of hostages, describing it as “extremely necessary progress” that must mark its “beginning”.
British Prime Minister Kir Starmer will also travel to Egypt for the Summit, a “historic turning point for the area after two years of war and bloodshed,” according to Downing Street.
French President Emmanuel Macron will be in Egypt tomorrow to demonstrate “support) in the implementation of the agreement presented by President (US) Trump to end the Gaza War” between Israel and Hamas, he had already announced El.
“Mr Macron will discuss” with partners the next steps in the implementation of the peace plan, “the French presidency added.
Spanish prime ministers Pedro Sanchez and Italy Gortza Melona are also expected in Egypt.
For its part, Hamas has announced that it will not participate in the official signing of the deal. “As for the official signature, we will not be present,” Hosam Badran said in an interview with the French Agency, adding that he would be represented by the “mediators”, Qatar and Egypt.
By morning tomorrow, Monday, based on the Israeli and Hamas agreement, 48 hostages, alive and dead, remaining in the Gaza Strip, will return to Israel.
In return, Israel is expected to release 250 “prisoners for security reasons”, including persons who have been convicted of deadly attacks on Israelis, as well as another 1,700 Palestinians captured by the Israeli army in the Gaza Strip.
