For three years even until 31-12-2028 the duration of the “De-Institutionalization of People with Disabilities” is expanded according to the latest amendment of the JMD signed by the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Domna Michaelidou and Deputy Minister of National Economy and Finance Athanasios Petralias.

The program is implemented by the Western Greece Region of Social Welfare Center, which develops and operates two new supported living roofs for 14 beneficiaries while expanding in time and still operation. six roofs with 24 beneficiaries until 31-12-2028.

Minister of Social Cohesion and Family Domna Michaelidou said: “The supported living roofs are the state’s concern to enhance the quality of life and independence of people with disabilities. Our commitment to a daily life with dignity, autonomy, respect and equal opportunities is addressed to everyone. The overall budget of the program by 31-12-2028 is up to EUR 18.5 million.
