The Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and government representative, Pavlos Marinakis, launched an attack on PASOK through a written announcement, stressing among other things that “Mr. Androulakis’ PASOK actively participated in the dangerous process of questioning the institutions, which he is now worried about”.

Also, the government representative notes that “if PASOK is really interested in being informed about the state of the Rule of Law, Justice and freedom of the media in our country, all they need to do is, even now, to carefully read the latest official report of the European Commission, which states, for yet another year, the significant progress of Greece in all these areas and ranks it among the states with the least recommendations among the EU.

Unless, in the current version of PASOK, they consider that even the European Commission is in the “bay” and its only reliable interlocutors are the extreme party formations that peddle conspiracy theories and attack the Justice and the institutions on a daily basis.

The announcement of the government representative, Pavlos Marinakis, follows in detail:

PASOK’s “tears” for Justice and the Rule of Law can only be treated as “crocodiles”.

As the emotional people say, “what you sow, you reap” and in recent months PASOK has “sown” problematic statements, such as that of its president Mr. Androulakis who said that he “does not trust the Justice”, but also of his executives, who adopted the non-existent theories about the “lost wagons” and “timbers”, instrumentalizing the pain of the relatives of the victims of Tempe.

The official opposition party is the one that voted “present” to the request to lift immunity for “high treason” against MPs, for voting in the exercise of their parliamentary duties, and co-signed with Pleusi Eleftherias a motion of no confidence against the government with baseless allegations.

With all this, Mr. Androulakis’s PASOK actively participated in the dangerous process of questioning the institutions, which he is now worried about.

If PASOK are really interested in being informed about the state of the Rule of Law, Justice and freedom of the media in our country, all they need to do is, even now, to carefully read the latest official report of the European Commission, which states, for yet another year, Greece’s significant progress in all these areas and ranks it among the states with the fewest recommendations among the EU.

Unless, in the current version of PASOK, they consider that even the European Commission is in “the bay” and its only reliable interlocutors are the extreme party formations that peddle conspiracy theories and attack the Justice and the institutions on a daily basis.
