Pavlos Polakis reacted strongly, commenting on the happenings in SYRIZA and the prospect of creating a new party by Alexis Tsipras. The MP was sharp in his Facebook post.

“I personally refused to give any interview before the Political Secretariat and I don’t like to see some people appearing on the channels as if they are “press representatives” of a new party under construction, being Syriza MPs!!!ENOUGH!!» emphasizes.

“What I have so far heard (very little and in general terms) on a programmatic level from Alexis Tsipras, for example, about “shipowners’ fund” they don’t inspire me!”

“Obviously there are no MESSIAHS, but a collective effort and popular movement that if it doesn’t move, nothing will change!” clarifies Pavlos Polakis.

Because I see many “leaks” that have nothing to do with reality, from the meeting of the Political Secretariat, what I clearly said is the following:
1) I do not consider the resignation of Alexis Tsipras to be a positive development for Syriza-PS which recently went through two splits and went to balance after the last presidential elections and the recent conference, where we formulated a clear program of left-wing progressive changes on which we called and call on all the democratic forces to place and join!
Objectively, the resignation of Alexis splits and weakens SYRIZA-PS and what it has so far achieved and proposes as a reason and tactic!

3) I think that everyone and any attempt by Alexis Tsipras will be judged first of all and above all by the PROGRAM he will broadcast regarding what the social majority needs after the disastrous six years of Mitsotakis!
SYRIZA-PS has a program formulated at the conference and with an analysis of its axes recently at the TIF by Sokratis Famellos and on this basis it invites everyone and above all the Greek people.
