The roll-call votes that New Democracy called for critical articles of the “Jobs Again” bill reveal in the most brilliant way the hypocrisy of the opposition and especially of SYRIZA.
Because the sterile criticism, the catastrophizing, the pseudology and the insults of the opposition were not finally combined with the way they voted. Otherwise they speak and otherwise they vote!
Specifically:
The amendment on fast track pensions and “trust pensions” was voted down by only 23 opposition MPs, despite strong criticism against this amendment! SYRIZA MPs voted “present”. Obviously at the critical time of the voting, the choice between the trade unionists of EFKA and the interest of the retirees… was difficult! They talked about a fiasco, but voted “present”!
Of course, there were other key provisions of this supposedly “catastrophic” bill that the opposition spoke differently and voted differently: the digital individual action plan, e.g. only 22 deputies voted against it, only 22 deputies voted against the individual skills account of the unemployed, 45 deputies voted against the evaluation and accountability criteria of the training providers, only 15 deputies voted against the infant care facilities, the payment of vouchers for people with disabilities 16 deputies.
So much ‘disaster’ is brought about by the bill “Jobs Again”. “At least in SYRIZA next time, let them show more restraint so that they are not exposed!”
