Mr. Tsipras referred to 5 + 1 commitments for a realistic Progressive Government program which concern precision, work, small and medium farmers, social protection, the new generation, and the change of productive model.
In terms of accuracy, he summarized interventions for the immediate reduction of 50% of the increases in the accounts. Raising the minimum wage to 800 euros and restoring employment rights, and writing off pandemic debt and microcredit.
At the same time, he pledged for the formation of a new NSS and the return of the 13th Pension. He announced affordable housing for young couples and simplification of access to universities for young people and a change of productive model.

Tsipras spoke in more detail about a conference that is “the beginning of the countdown for the progressive government that the country needs”, while he called on all delegates to spread “the party wherever the resistance to destructive government policies breathes”. “To give the message of victory. “Our responsibility is mainly towards the young people, to the next generations who will be called to take on their own the future of this place”, he added.
The president of SYRIZA-PS referred to the forced delay caused by the pandemic in the holding of the conference, while expressing the opinion that “maybe the Congress will finally take place in a world completely different from the one we had” when it was announced.
“The ever-increasing climate crisis, the pandemic, the war, the energy crisis are creating an environment of successive crises and unprecedented challenges.
