Award winner Golden Boy for 2021 is the Pedri!
The Italian newspaper Tuttosport, organizer of this award since 2003, announced the relevant results on Monday (22/11), with the 18-year-old Barcelona ace emerging as the top talent – born from January 1 onwards – for the current year.
Pedri, who took the baton from last year’s winner, Erling Hald, will receive his award on December 15 in Turin. Last season (2020-21) he stood out for the fact that he played in more matches than any other footballer, making 72 entries in nine different events (La Liga, Copa Del Rey, Spanish Super Cup, Champions League, Euro, Olympic Games, World Cup qualifiers, Euro U21, Nations League). In 56 entries with Barcelona since the summer of 2020, when he wore the blaugrana, he has four goals and six assists.
