The cooperation of EAOM-Disabled with the METROPOLITAN COLLEGE provides, among others:
– Provision of two scholarships per year amounting to 50% of the tuition fees for registered athletes of EAOM Disabled, who wish to study in undergraduate or postgraduate programs conducted by the College.
– Voluntary participation of students of the programs of Coaching, Sports Administration, Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Dietetics, Psychology, Pedagogy in events of EAOM Disabled.
– Support for sporting events and events, as well as social and educational activities.
– Organization of seminars and / or thematic presentations by the Federation to the students of the College.
“We believe that this cooperation, which is of sports, educational and cultural content, will have a lot to offer to our Federation in the future”, said the president of EAOM-AmeA, Ioanna Karyofylli, after the signing of the cooperation protocol.
Ms. Karyofylli and Mr. Diamantis, at the end of the process, had the opportunity to talk for a long time with the “golden” Paralympic athlete, Nasos Gavela, as well as with his coach, Nestora Kolovo.
AS Elpida won the basketball championship with mental disability
AS Elpida won the SE basketball championship. which took place in Alexandreio, Thessaloniki. In the match that decided the title, AS Elpida prevailed 74-22 over the Eagles of Thessaloniki and celebrated the conquest of the trophy.
Panhellenic blind judo championship: Firsts for Triantafyllou and Papachristo
Panagiotis Triantafyllou (Keravnos) and Theoklitos Papachristos (Pyrsos) won the two categories of the Panhellenic Judo Championship for the blind that was held in Loutraki, in parallel with the Panhellenic Championship of boys and girls of EOT.
Triantafyllou at -81 kg prevailed over Polyzoi Rigas (Pyrsos), while Papachristos at +100 kg defeated Charalambos Tokatlidis (Pyrsos).
The curator of National teams of EAOM-AmeA, Konstantinos Siachos, on the sidelines of the two Championships, presented an honorary plaque to the president of EO Judo, Dimitris Michailidis, for the excellent cooperation of the two Federations for many years.
