Liverpool striker Mohamed Salah has won the 2022 PFA Men’s Player of the Year award.

The 29-year-old won the award by voting for teammates Sadio Mane and Vergil Vandik, Manchester City’s Kevin De Bruyne, Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Manchester United’s Cristiano Ronaldo.

Salah scored 23 goals, shared the Premier League Golden Boot with Song Haung Min and made 13 assists as the Reds won the title.

This is the second such award for Egyptians who also won the award in 2018.

“It’s always a great honor to win a cup individually or as a group, and it’s so big that I’m very happy and very proud,” said Sarah upon winning the award.

“This is a very special victory because it was voted for by the players. Of course, I wanted the Premier League and the Champions League first, but personally, you worked very hard, to show that you can get what you are looking for.

Make sure there is enough closet space for this spot! I always save a spot for another drink, the gold boots were the same. I like the idea that you can take something else and fill in the blanks.

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp congratulated Salah, saying: “What I really like about this award is what the players vote for.” This is an award that should interest you.

“In Moses’ case, these are numbers, the most goals scored and the most assists all season. He definitely deserves it.

“When we first searched, he wasn’t the current target monster, so I was really excited about the opportunity to work with him. He’s a lusty, hard-working horse.” [James Milner] He is the first and the last to leave training.

Meanwhile, City’s Phil Foden is ahead of Arsenal’s Bukayo Saka and Emile Smith Rowe duo, Chelsea’s Rice James, Crystal Palace’s Conor Gallagher and Aston Villa’s Jacob Ramsey for the PFA year.
