Barcelona striker Ousmane Dembele has responded to speculation that he would like to leave the Camp Nou and join Thomas Tuchel’s Chelsea this summer.
When Dembélé joined Barcelona for over £100m in 2017, much was expected and his deal was the second-highest in history.
Impressed by Bundesliga side Borussia Dortmund, Wing, 25, became a regular in France and competed in the 2018 World Cup.
However, Dembélé had a restless spell at Barcelona, scoring just two goals in 32 games last season.
According to Spanish reports, the players are open to leaving Barca and would like to join Chelsea, who are interested in the summer contract.
Tuchel reportedly wants to improve his attacking options after a disappointing domestic campaign and is eyeing Dembele as an ideal addition to his side at Stamford Bridge.
However, Dembélé appears to have shattered Chelsea’s desire to snap up Chelsea’s services by telling fans he will stay in Barcelona this summer.
\\ | Dembélé was asked by one of his fans about his future:
-Are you staying in Barcelona? Yes
-Have you heard of anything about Chelsea? .. … €
-“Do you want to work with Tuqueri? I’m fine in Barcelona-https://t.co/3PWTpIXfos

Video posted on social media shows Fanny interacting with Dembele while sitting in the car at traffic lights.
“Are you staying at Barcelona?” he asks the fans, Dembélé replies “yes”.
The Spanish version of Sport states that fans are asking specifically about Chelsea and if they would like to work with Denvelethel at Stamford Bridge.
Dembélé commented after Glen Johnson told former club Chelsea that the Barcelona striker’s move “made no sense”.
He told bettingodds.com: “I don’t think this makes sense. You have to be wise. You can’t just go out and spend the best money for the best players.”
It definitely makes sense if you can get a cheap or free player. Do we have to think how much it would cost if Dembélé had four years left on his contract?
“Yes, if such a transaction is possible, I think we should switch to it.”
Chelsea, which finished third in the Premier League last season and reached the FA Cup and EFL Cup finals, is also associated with Robert Lewandowski, Jules Koundé and Raheem Sterling.
