Leeds United raised the asking price for Chelsea and Arsenal loanee Raffinha after agreeing to sell Kalvin Phillips to Manchester City.

The Premier League champions have identified the Briton as an ideal replacement for the mighty Fernadino.

The city has shown long-term interest in Philips Three Lions team-mate Declan Rice, but the Leeds stars are seen as a more financially viable alternative, at £2.642m for a 26-year-old.

Leeds are also struggling to lead Rafinha to defeat, with keen interest from Premier League clubs.

“Barcelona” seems to have been popular for buying wings, but they are having a hard time raising the money to facilitate the deal.

Arsenal, who have signed a deal with Citi for Gabriel Magalh, will focus on Rafinha, but it’s not cheap.
