Thomas Strakosha is about to move to Manchester United, and after leaving Lazio, the goalkeepers will be available for free transfers this summer.

After Dean Henderson was loaned out to Nottingham Forest in search of first team football, the Red Devils are looking for a new agent for David de Gea.

The 27-year-old Lazio went on loan at Salernitana in 2015-16 and featured for Lazio, the only permanent club in his career, 208 times.

He has not been guaranteed a starter at Lazio for two years, but he has only played 32 times in Serie A in two campaigns, meaning he will lose his contract this summer.

Strakosha has no plans to play a big first-team game at Old Trafford, but talkSPORT reports that a deal with Manchester United is imminent.

The Greek-born goalkeeper played 19 times for Albania, winning the silver medal at Lazio and winning the Coppa Italia in 2013 and 2019.

Henderson is on a long-term loan at Nottingham Forest and it is unclear what will happen to him in the newly promoted team after this campaign.

The 31-year-old De Gea, who only has one year left on his current contract, may be offered a new deal as he is a clear first choice for wearing gloves.

New coach Erik Ten Hag will decide next season if he believes in another stopper and stays with the Spanish.
