Alexander Zinchenko trained for the first time with his new Arsenal teammates ahead of a friendly match against Chelsea.
The former Manchester City stars will make their debut on Friday after completing the transfer process after watching them beat Orlando City from the stands with the Arsenal manager earlier this week.
Zinchenko was promoted by Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta and later wore the number 35 previously worn by heroes Mohamed Elneny and Gabriel Martinelli.
In a message to Arsenal fans on Instagram, Zinchenko said: I’m so happy to be here with the boys, I’ll be your 35, see you again.
Zinchenko is the second player to move to Premier League champions Arsenal this summer after Gabriele Jesus was persuaded to take part in Mikel Arteta’s rebuilding project earlier in the window.
Edu is pleased with the club’s latest acquisition and is confident that Zinchenko’s victorious spirit and talent will add him wisely.
