“Ionikos, in collaboration with the Municipality of Nicaea, is launching the “Sports for all” program and offering 15 annual scholarships to children from families of vulnerable groups and unemployed parents.
The program is being launched for the first time in our city with the aim of making a substantial contribution to our fellow citizens and concerns young children aged 5 to 12 of all nationalities living in our city. Ionikos undertakes all the costs for the runners-up (annual subscription, clothing, ticket, participation in competitions) which will arise in cooperation with the Social Service of the Municipality of Nikias – Ag. Ioannis Rentis who has been offering to those in need for decades.
Those interested should get in touch with the Social Service of the Municipality on the phone and fill in a relevant form with their details and the details of the child as well as the sport they want. This form together with the necessary supporting documents that will be requested will be evaluated and the successful candidates will be selected by lottery.

Football – 1 place for boys aged 5 to 10 years
Basketball – 1 place for boy / 1 place for girl 5 to 12 years old
Volleyball – 1 place for boy / 1 place for girl 5-12 years old
Boxing – 1 place for boy / 1 place for girl 10 to 12 years
Polo – 1 place for boy / 1 place for girl 6 to 9 years old
Swimming – 1 place for boy / 1 place for girl 5 to 8 years old
Tennis – 1 place for boy / 1 place for girl 5 to 9 years old
Weightlifting – 1 place for boy / 1 place for girl 10 – 12 years old
Applications start 1/9 and end 30/9″.
