The Bulls and the Heat fell softly, after the NBA punished the two “organizations” for illegal contacts with Lonzo Bowl and Kyle Lowry respectively this summer, before the transfer window opens for free agents.
Both Chicago and Miami they lost a second round selection from the next draft as they worked with the organizing authority.
Specifically, both groups could be punished still with a fine of 10 million dollars or with a loss of choice from the first round of the draft, however they saved it.
ESPN Sources: The NBA will make Chicago and Miami forfeit their next available second-round draft pick over findings in probe into early contact in summer free agency. Probe was centered on Lonzo Ball and Kyle Lowry sign and trades.
