Alex Albon was in a mood to troll the alalum that existed between Alpine and Oscar Piastri. In a post on social media he borrowed – making a few variations – the Australian pilot’s tweet. In it he presented the announcement of the renewal of his partnership with Williams ahead of next season.
In it, he claimed that he has the agreement of himself and the team to continue racing with their car in 2023. He apparently wanted to play up the events that preceded the agreement between Alpine and the young driver, which was followed by the complete refutation of Piastri, creating many question marks about what will happen next in the whole story.
Alex Albon has 51 starts to date in Formula 1, with stints at Toro Rosso and Red Bull among others, collecting the round number of 200 points during his career.
