Karditsa has taken… timewho announced another transfer, that of David Gabrovsek.
The newly enlightened team of the Stoiximan Basket League have formalized the addition of the 28-year-old Slovenian forward, who played for Stjarnan last season.
The announcement in detail:
“AS Karditsa ORGANIC VILLAGE announces the inclusion of David Gabrovsek to the potential of our team.
The Slovenian athlete is 28 years old (born September 18, 1994 in Ljubljana), 2.02 m tall and plays as a power forward.
In 2013 David Gabrovsek found himself on the other side of the Atlantic and the USA, where he attended Southwest Baptist College for two seasons, with an account of 58 games (29 as a starter), 15.1 minutes of participation, 53% on 2-pointers, 42% on 3-pointers and 78% on shots and still, 5 points m.o. and 1.7 rebounds.
He then returned to Slovenia, wearing in order the jerseys of Typhoon Sediur, Illyria, Olimia Poncetrtek and Rogačka, all teams of A1 Slovenia. In his final season in the Slovenian league, he averaged 13 points and 4.9 rebounds with Rogačka.
In the 2021-22 season found in Iceland in the jersey of Stjarnan, with which he won the Iceland Cup, while he was named the finals MVP by scoring 29 points in his team’s 93-85 victory over Porlakfsson. In the Icelandic league, Gobravsek played 28.7 minutes in 24 games, averaging 16.1 points, 6 rebounds and 1.5 assists, with 61% on 2-pointers, 33% on 3-pointers and 68% on free throws. He is an international with the Slovenian Youth National Team.
