THE Sheet released this Wednesday (17) a new news application, with more features for readers and subscribers. The main novelty is that, now, everything will be in one place.
The Real Time apps, with the news, columns and all the content published on the site, and the Folha Edition, with a replica of the printed version, become just the Folha app.
It works on iOS and Android phones and tablets and is available for download from the App Store (Apple) and Play Store (Google). If you already have the app installed, just update it. Anyone who wants to know should search for ‘Folha’ in stores and download.
One of the highlights is the new menu, which makes navigation easier. At any time, just click on ‘Main’ to go back to the cover or access another section by clicking on ‘Sections’.
It is also easier to receive notifications of the main news of the day, which reach the smartphone screen of any user who activates the function. In addition to the most important ones, it is possible to select preferred subjects, such as politics, economy, sport, culture, among others.
FOR SUBSCRIBERS
Two other novelties improve the usability of the paying reader.
Subscribers of the Digital Premium plan who read the Folha Edition, a replica of the printed version of the newspaper, gain faster navigation, with an icon also highlighted in the menu.
In addition, features are available for downloading the edition and offline reading, features that only appeared in the Folha Edition application, which will be discontinued in the coming months.
Minha Folha, which helps make the experience more personalized, is highlighted in the menu.
With it, every subscriber can access, in one place, the articles saved to read later (using the flag icon in the stories and titles on the covers), the list of reports of the topics followed and the columns and favorite blogs. Just access the link to learn more about how to configure Minha Folha.
The paying reader also has at his disposal the present link, to offer contacts up to five accesses per day to content published on the site.
To generate a gift link, the subscriber clicks on the first icon on the share bar (letter F). From there, you choose which means to send it, e-mail or WhatsApp.
Finally, another benefit of the Digital Premium plan is the shared subscription with up to five users. From the icon at the top of the app, just click on My Profile and then Subscription. There, you can register extra accounts. Each guest will receive an email to register and create their own password.

THE Sheet currently offers three subscription plans. Two are digital. One is Digital Unlimited, which gives access to all the content produced by Folha, on the website and in the app; the second is the Digital Premium, which includes access to the Folha Edition, a replica of the printed version available from 11:15 pm the previous day, in addition to an exclusive digital notebook, Folha Mais.
Subscription to the printed newspaper has two offers, with variation to receive the newspaper daily or only on weekends. Those who subscribe to the form also have all the benefits of Digital Premium.
