Juliana Borges Lima became an AEK handball player on Wednesday. The Amateur Union has announced the signing of the Brazilian international left-winger for next year, to strengthen her bid for distinction in her first appearance in A1 women’s handball.
Last season, the 23-year-old was competing in Gijon in Spain.
In detail, the announcement:
“AEK is pleased to announce the start of its collaboration with Juliana Borges Lima. The 26-year-old (01/03/1996) 1.78m left winger from Brazil has signed a one-year contract and is joining the women’s handball team.
Juliana Lima started her career at Aeso –Osorio, then played for Esporte Clube Pinheiros and Sao Paulo. He has also played in Hungary for Dvsc Schaeffler, but also in Spain for Balonmano Morvedre and Unicaja Banco Gijon, with whom he finished last season.
After the formalization of the agreement, Juliana Borges Lima said to aek.gr: “I am happy and I really hope that we will enjoy the season and work very well together. I hope we have a great season.”
