Excellent debut of Stamatouros in Denmark with B75

The first two matches for the 2022-2023 season took place in the Danish Professional Table Tennis League and Giorgos Stamatouros helped his new team, B75, to get off to an ideal start with two wins. B75 played the first matches at home, already collected 6 points and will advance with the goal of entering the top four of the playoffs.

This year, his main competitive duty will be the first national division of the Scandinavian country, however he will also return to the French National 1 on behalf of Roman.

B75 welcomed Herning 1 for the first matchday of the League and Virum for the second. With each team match ending in favor of the team that reaches five individual victories, the club from the city of Hirtshals and the northernmost tip of the country defeated Herning 5-0 sets and Virum 5-1 sets.

The Greek men’s singles champion in 2021 played three individual matches. Two in the premiere of the championship and one in the next meeting and with very remarkable performances he scored the ultimate with three victories. Relatively easily he beat Benjamin Sorensen, Emil Madsen in the first race and Theo Dyekj?r in the next.

In fact, a second individual match had started in the match against Virum, as the matches were played on two tables, they were again ahead of the score with 2-0 sets and 5-2 in points, but they had no counterattack, because in the meantime it was decided in 5-0 the team meeting. His teammates were Gustav Johan Barius, Mahmoud Helmy and Matias Larsen.

The next matchday is scheduled for October 9 and B75 will face away from home Roskilde, champion of Denmark, in which the great Mikael Maze also competes.
