Olympiakos prevailed 8-7 over Apollon Smyrni in the ninth match of the A1 men’s polo.
The red and whites had a hard time, but they managed to bend the “light brigade” and to continue their undefeated course, counting nine victories in an equal number of matches.
Nikos Deligiannis’s team played a draw against the club of Piraeus, tying the game at 7-7 with Gounas, however Gennidounias two minutes before the final made the final 8-7.
The red and whites, now, turn their attention to the match on Tuesday (14/12 – 19:15) with Jadran Split in Piraeus for the Champions League.
