PAOK controlled the match in the first half with 13-8, but a 3-0 run by Zafirakis at the start of the second half made the score 11-13. Since then, PAOK maintained the lead, but never managed to gain a significant difference.
In the 52nd minute, Zafirakis equalized 19-19, forcing “Two-Headed” to be anxious to win. PAOK reached 19-21 in the 54th minute and “cleaned up” in the 59th minute with 20-23.
