EEC: Development and solidarity accounts

Two accounts that offer the opportunity to those who wish and have the financial ability to contribute to the development of the sport and solidarity with the clubs were opened by Hellenic Basketball Federation.

The announcement:

The EEC announces the creation of two EEC accounts for the development of sport and solidarity with clubs.

The numbers of the above EUROBANK accounts are as follows:

1) The account ANAPTYXI (GR8602603940000190200165463) and

2) The SOLIDARITY account (GR5802602520000150200564422).

The ANAPTYXI account will deposit all the fees that concern the foreign athletes who play in the Greek championship as well as all the fees for the participation of Greek players in the Basket League. Also, in the ANAPTYXI account will be deposited donations of third parties for the support of the EEC Development Program.

All the money of the special ANAPTYXI account will be directed exclusively for the needs of the EEC Development Program and the account will be supervised by a three-member committee consisting of two non-executive members of the EEC Board of Directors and the General Director of the EEC.

All the money related to the transfers of the athletes who play in the EEC championships, as well as all the fines that will be imposed by the judicial committees, will be deposited in the SOLIDARITY account. Also, in the SOLIDARITY account, donations from third parties will be deposited in the framework of the EEC corporate responsibility programs.

All the money of the special SOLIDARITY account will be directed exclusively for the support of academies and groups of remote and island areas. The account will be overseen by a three-member Committee consisting of two non-executive members of the EEC Board of Directors and the Director-General of the EEC.
