The fourth day of the European Swimming Championship in 25ara pool, which is being held in Kazan, started impressively for Greece. Dimitris Markos set a national record in the 200m. free throwing down with a time of 1: 45.60 the 1: 46.16 of Andreas Zisimos, which he held since 2007.

The athlete from NO Kalamaki was 20th in the standings and advanced to the afternoon (17:58) semifinals, as higher were four Italians, four Dutch and three Russians (from each country, only two can qualify). In the afternoon, in addition to the two aforementioned semifinals, they also have two Greek participations in finals. At 17:30 Andreas Vazaios competes in the 200m. mixed individual, being the favorite to defend the title of European champion, while a little later (17:43) Apostolos Christou will claim a medal in the 100m. backstroke.
